Arts For All hosted a “Bizarre Art Bazaar” at the open-air (but covered) barn on Wilcox Street behind Fred’s Pharmacy (where the farmer’s market is held each Thursday) just off of U.S. Highway 61 in St. Francisville on Saturday, May 28 from 9:00-5:00.
Offerings by members of Arts for All included original art, previously hung art, and items related to making art in all its forms, including original art, previously hung art, theatrical costumes, art supplies, art books, musical instruments. In other words, anything and everything related to the visual arts, theatre, music, writing, collage, 3D art, ceramics, glass, and anything else used in the creative process. Emphasis was placed on items consistent with the bazaar’s bizarre theme!
Summer’s almost here, but a lot is happening already!!!!
Songshop with Luke Ash continues once a month on the second Tuesday. These have been great sessions for young musicians.
Kyte Aymond painting classes Thursday evenings.
Barry Galloway is currently teaching a clay class at the studio and the work his students are creating (clay busts) are already very impressive.
We are in the planning stages for a ceramics studio tour in the spring this year – details to come.
REMEMBER: We offer scholarships to all our classes and are especially interested in providing opportunities for young people to get involved in the arts. As part of this effort we donate money and supplies to art related programs in our schools.
